travel in the company of and have as our
daily guide Master
Liu Jianshe. We have purposely kept
the size of group small so as to allow more
time for qigong practice and interaction
with Master Jianshe.
Jianshe’s story is fascinating; He worked
for many years at the Huaxia Qigong Centre
(also known as the Medicine-less Hospital)
in China. He Trained with Dr Pang Ming, and
eventually became Head of the Recovery Unit.
Master Jianshe has been engaged in ZQ
Qigong healing and teaching since
1991. He has spread Zhineng Qigong in many
cities and villages, in China as well as
countries such as The Netherlands, Belgium,
Sweden, UK, Germany, the United States, and
South Africa. In January of this year
Jianshe spent two weeks at Kokolulu Farm
Hawaii - Blue Sky Retreats also known as Kokolulu
Farm and Cancer Retreats in Hawaii
teaching and sharing. He has witnessed
many marvels of healing with his own eyes.
He feels deeply that Qigong can bring
hope to humanity and harmony to the world.
For over 10 years Master Jianshe and his
staff have operated the Hexianiu
QiGong Centre on Hainan Island China.
Jianshe is a full of laughter, happiness and
is a heartfelt man.
As students of Qigong, we will start each
day with a Qigong practice session led by
Master Liu Jianshe.
With our daily guide and teacher Master Liu
Jianshe helping us set a qi field we begin
our journey in Beijing, the capital of China
on September 10th.
Beijing is a city with more than 3,000 years
of recorded history and a centuries-old
glorious evolution. Evidence of human
ancestry dating back to 700,000 years ago
has been found in such places as Zhoukoudian
in the southwest part of Beijing, where the
remains known as 'Peking Man' were found.
We will visit one of the most remarkable
feats of mankind - the
Great Wall. We will practice qigong at
of Heaven, visit the Forbidden
City, Tiananmen Square and more.
We will take a modern fast
train from Beijing to Hangzhou (only 6
Hangzhou is well know in the world for its
Lake. There are numerous historical
sites and fascinating scenes around West
Lake. We will visit the West
Lake gardens with its thousands of
fragrant lotus blossoms and picturesque
beauty. Next on our list is a visit to Hefang
street, famous for its night market
full of art hawkers, candy sculptors, pillow
shops, caricaturists, old-fashioned movie
players, storytellers, bonsai shops, ancient
teahouses, and an array of small eateries,
making Hefang Street charmingly lively.
Not to be missed, our visit will include Lingyin Temple
that is without doubt a premier showpiece in
the West Lake environs and is notable also
as one of the ten most famous Buddhist
temples of China. In 1961 it was listed for
protection as a key provincial historical
and cultural site and is considered a
leading centre for research relative to
Chinese Buddhist culture.
HAINAN ISLAND -
We will fly from Hangzhou to Haikou
airport on Hainan Island, where will
be staying at the world famous Hexianju
Qigong Centre nestled in the coconut
forest on a large lake near the ocean for 8
The new facilities were completed in the
fall of 2012. The Hexianju Qigong Centre is
just like being in a big happy family
composed of students from China and around
the world. The centre is working to enhance
good health and long life; harmony and
self-control; freedom and consciousness; in
a welcoming environment providing equality
for all. Within this naturally formed qi
field, which is full of harmony, happiness
and vitality. People who spend time in the
centre's qi field find their body and mind
The food at the centre is wonderful and
freshly cooked each day from the centre's
Chef Bai and his staff.
The entire staff at the Hexianju Qigong
Centre walk their talk living and practicing
qigong every day.
We will be spending several days touring
Hainan Island visiting various sites like
Xinglong Town and the natural hot springs -
famed for the healing effects of its rich
natural mineral waters, meeting and
practicing with local qigong friends
and drinking the world renowned Hainan
With a renewed sense of purpose, our spirits
raised, and our health and bodies renewed we
bide farewell (for now) to China and our new
qigong friends on September 30 leaving from
Haikou airport. If you have time and
interest you can easily travel from Haikou
to Vietnam, Laos, Hong Kong, or to the South
of Mainland China before returning
ACCOMMODATIONS AND FOOD:
Participants will reside in 3 or 4 star
hotels with modern facilities. Guest rooms
are well appointed, with two single beds in
each room, cable TV and international
direct-dial telephones (single rooms are
available at extra cost). Most of the
breakfasts will be both Chinese and Western
styles. For other meals, we will sample many
different local cuisines (as many as 9
dishes per meal). Vegetarian meals are
available upon request.

within China, visa, tuition, accommodations,
all meals, listed entertainment and
sightseeing. Private rooms are available at
an additional cost of $500 for the trip)
